This course provides students with training in the technology used to build today’s modern electronic devices, particularly in the areas of security and telecommunications. From basic electronics and electrical circuits, to the latest use of lasers and fiber optics for use in data and voice communications, you will learn how electronic devices work, how to design them, and how to build them. With a solid foundation in technical training, problem solving, and communications skills, by the time you graduate, you’ll have sufficient knowledge and skill to obtain employment for entry-level positions in electronics technology.
